Q: How much does it cost to transport a pet from the US to Spain?
The cost depends on the size of your pet, the route, and the services you need. Most transports range from $1,500 to $4,000. We provide a personalized quote within 24 hours — no hidden fees.
Q: What documents does my pet need?
Your pet needs a USDA health certificate, current rabies vaccination, a microchip (ISO 15-digit), and an APHIS endorsement. For EU entry, an EU health certificate is also required. We handle all of this for you.
Q: Can large dogs fly to Spain?
Yes. Dogs over 20 lbs travel in IATA-approved crates in the climate-controlled cargo area. We provide the right crate size. We've transported Great Danes, Mastiffs and everything in between.
Q: How long does the journey take?
A direct flight from the US East Coast to Madrid takes approximately 8-9 hours. Total door-to-door time is typically 24-48 hours depending on the route.
Q: Is my pet safe during the flight?
Absolutely. Pets travel in pressurized, climate-controlled cargo holds. We use IATA-approved crates and follow all international animal welfare protocols.
Q: I'm military — can I get reimbursed by the DoD?
Yes. Since January 2024, the DoD reimburses up to $2,000 per pet for OCONUS PCS moves. We provide the documentation you need for your DD Form 1351-2 claim.
Q: Can I track my pet during the journey?
Yes. We provide real-time updates via phone, email, and WhatsApp — including photos and videos at every stage.
